0Using a specially designed computer your eyes work together yet apart (when playing computer games). This allows stimulus to each eye to be different yet binocular vision is maintained. By using stimulation the amblyopic eye will often improve acuity, whilst maintaining binocular vision which is lost when patching is used.
It has therefore significant advantages over patching but it cannot be guaranteed to help (no type of intervention in this area can be guaranteed).
